WELCOME TO WILSON MIDDLE SCHOOL

MATH DEPARTMENT WEBSITE

Wilson Middle School's Math Department teaches the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics and uses the Connected Mathematics 3 curriculum for all of our regular education mathematics classes. We also offer Accelerated Mathematics courses at each grade level, which allows students the option to take high school level Geometry by the time they reach 8th grade.

Wilson also uses computer-based intervention programs, such as iReady and ST Math. Students who need support beyond their regular mathematics class may take an intervention class called Math Strategies. Here, students receive additional math development and support focusing on remediating skill gaps and strengthening foundational math concepts. Finally, Wilson MS offers Dual Language Math classes, with the option for students to take all of their middle school math courses entirely in Spanish.

Homework help and math tutoring are offered after school.
